A good, honest day at the marketplace today. Interesting, as soon as we put a new signboard up, we are inundated with inquiries straight away.
I have a couple of new properties starting up with where we’ve already put the boards up and we’ve actually backlogged quite a few buyers, keeping them informed and sending them the pictures as they happen. But they’re very keen to get through since we put those properties in the market. That is a very good sign.
So in terms of numbers, we averaged between 9 and 32 groups up for today. A couple of standouts:
a full bedroom, two bathroom, double lock-up garage property. It has been on the market for 14 days. It has seen over 17 inspections and 16 contracts issued. And I would add that as we hit the auction on that one, it’s going to be very interesting to see what happens.
This particular property I’m standing in right now which is brand new, we’ve had it on the market for five days now. We have had 22 inspections and we’ve had six contracts issued.
Know that we put a lot of effort into getting the formula right and the strategy right way before we even think about putting a property in the market, because it’s so important to get everything right and have a new strategy for this new market.
